3D STREET SCENES - PRESENTED BY GREATSTARR

"Showcasing virtual 3d stereo".

"3d street scenes taken in mono (single lens). The proof is self evident that genuine stereo is intrinsic in 2d photos. The stereo is a virtual popout, it does not exist in the real world, the 3d emerges when two real images are focused overlapping forming a third popup, creating a 3rd physically non existing 3d metaphysical image in between".

"This is radically different than traditional stereo where two physical images each slightly displaced emulating two eyes, are brought together forming one stereographic image, emulating stereo eyesight. Virtual 3d does not emulate two picture traditional stereo".

"Traditional binoccular stereo pair, two separate images one slightly displaced from the other, focused together duplicates the vision of normal binoccular eyesight".

"Slant angle stereo is with one of the stereo pair's image displayed with less width. The reduction is way beyond normal, about 1/3 less width. The result is a virtual 'mirror', canted, approximating full stereo, except the width is narrowed but not destroyed. Is this a useful technique? Retorical answer so don't ask".

"In this pair there is little difference between tabletop and slant angle stereo".

"The corn truck (mine shared decades ago) is a 3d camera photo. The edges on either side do not match. This is correct for binoccular 3d. The rest of the images on this page are cut from one picture, a mono".

QUASAR COMES HOME (little brown dog's name was quasar)

"Each extra (-digit) reduced on one image's width increases the stereo depth. There is an end zone, too much width shrink and the details become too obscured as their width's close up. Also, it becomes too uncomfortable for eyesight. Check again the two stereo slanters above, the version labelled '2' has only 3 less widthpoints, noticably more 3d stereo, noticable decay in resolution".

"Note the steel skeleton structure between the legs, a rectangle box with the long axis sitting perpendicular to the legs".

GREAT WALL OF CHINA

"NEXT"

"Two
slightly
different views,
the second in subtle color
tone adjustements, increases stereo,
a useful technique used for a
pair of mono stereo images.
Also, an extra large
view for image
size still
has 3d

"Minimum content still contains ample 3d. Chinawall is mimimum content".

"China Wall was a small advertisement on the glossy back cover of a magazine, the first shown is true to size. The original lacked detail. The point of this image is to show that virtual 3d is independent of details and scale. Look at how well it still stereo's after been blown up from an inch and a half. The virtual stereo sticks in spite of size or image's media deteriorations". "A few more scenes worth admiring for virtual stereo 3d, since each of these images is also a single mono photo. Proof without question that mono has all of the 3d in it in cross hatching hologram incident light rays, striking the camera lens from all directions at once. Hologram principles are in full effect, in phase shifts in the incidents".

"The incoming incident photons hitting the camera's film of or digital, has scattered from every direction in the room and carriers the full photon record from every scatter. Incident light on your monitor, and on a flat surface if you are staging two identical magazine prints side by side, improves stereo noticably depending on the angles in which the incident lights strike in the environment, for instance through a daylight window, or from a lightbulb. Over the shoulder incidents tends to favor more 3d". "Chinawall in winter".

MORE SCENES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

"River. "Color photocopy from the blurry glossy back cover of a geography magazine".

"Tibeten mountainside lamastery, color photocopy from the glossy back cover of a geography magazine".

"Built in Whitehorse Yukon Canada by soldier returned from WW2, is the only known triple decker log cabin in the world. Guess who lived there for six months main floor in 1978. Got lots of spurious knocks on the door from American tourists and their kids looking for the museum, which was several blocks away".

"See the cliff face full sized below. The photographer was so skilled the panarama almost seems 3d on its own. Only the long vista to the shallow shale cliffs become more stereoscopic in slant">

OPTICAL ILLUSIONS ARE TREACHEROUS

"Presto! an innie becomes an outie by rotating the image. At the instant the photo was made, incident lights striking from all angles made a hard copy, recreated only when reasonable approximation of similar incident lights strikes the hard copy image after the fact. Rotating the image takes it out of it's hard copy registration, reversing the angles of reflection, conversing the shapes".

"Galaxy and nebula photos are worse. The only away to truly know the genuine 3d virtual stereo of one, is to match your copy with it's natural state of orientation in deep space. A quick way is, if a gimble is an innie instead of an outie, your image is upside down or sideways".

"These guys are serious. It is here only to show stereo quality scanned of a page of a glossy magazine".

"These guys are serious. It is here only to show mirror stereo quality in a scan from a page of a glossy magazine. You do not get serious like this in reality".

SETTING UP SLANT ANGLES

"In setting up slant angle images, there are two choices; left mirror; and right mirror. Both will have slant stereo. One will scintillate more, with more depth expecially amongst shadows. This is the good mirror".

"NEXT"

"As it appeared onscreen from said Mars Cydonia magazine".

"This rubbled ancient technology installation, with geometry alongside, on Mars, was captured by early satellite. Image source has been stolen by the time bandit. It is not known if this is a Voyager or Pioneer low or high res. The image is a side scan. The view slopes away from the foreground, which is correct".

"A single triangle carved against the east edge of the 5 sided pentagon is cinch of society. Lower left, a small glimpse of another cylander conduit disappears into the hexagram's raised platform underground".

"The Mars hydro installation image was first presented in an obscure Cydonia on Mars magazine, upsidedown, captioned a spill plane proving there was water on Mars. Not enough beyond obvious spill plain to cinch the image. The hydro installation has hits of interest nearly everywhere you look. Cydonia and the face on Mars are no longer of enough interest to warrant their own spreadsheets, newer images have proven them duds". The spill plain view has no interest except for the downhill ski slope which is probably why the image was published as 'proof of water' on Mars. Except, it is neither a liquid's spill plane, nor a landslide. It is solid stone, carved in physics".

"Go back to the Hydro Installation (flipped), and concider: The stone on top becomes charged, calling down furies of electricity (ionic charges), which activate the dynamoes seen in the crevice under the left cleft overhang beside the ion tower, flooding the geometry catch basin with liquids as thick as sulfuric acid maybe even sulfuric acid, which drains into the ion tower base to be fractionated and pumped up as two different fluids, into the two (large, and small) conduits disappearing into oval openings in the rock extending from the right side of the Ion Tower, de-thirsting the underground civilization". "I have had fun conjecturing the Hydro Installation in full operation, oscillating the countryside. Seems today to be ancient abandoned, can't say however. Earth's ancients had stone civilizations with technology which cannot be understood today. The Mars engineering was by alien foreigners. It wasn't a civilization friendly to Earth. Somdeday I might publish a sci fi novel about how they could get the six sided geometry catch basin to rotate, accomodating fierce winds. Random thoughts keep drifting in".

MORE MARS INTERESTING PERHAPS SCENES

"The squares and straight lines are chopped up video taking a hit in some thin atmosphere turbulence, actually, it was that the image engineers did not understand the terraced mesa in the upper west".

"A circle in lower elevation to the west. A hexagram in higher elevation to the east. Two perfect anomalies which have no business being on Mars".

"Calbration test: two identical monos side by side in nearly identical sizes have enough 3d to show a sharp elevation decline descending to the west, the circle is lower down in altitude".

"The sphere in the center of the circle at left protrudes above ground. The sphere in the hexagram at right is insunk below ground".
